HVAC Design Engineer – Orange County, CA

We are a large growing mechanical contractor in Orange County that works on many of California’s biggest and best mechanical projects. This is a full-time position with great salary and benefits package as well as career-growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Review all contract project design and engineering design and calculations accuracy.
• Working closely with engineer, architects, and other disciplines.
• Ensure client satisfaction in early phase of upcoming projects.
• Work closely with general contractors and owners as well as other sub-contractors and mep-design engineers.
• Review project specs and identify value engineering opportunities to present to our clients.

Requirements:

• Stable work-history.
• Local to Orange County.
• 5+years of HVAC and Design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, PE License Required.
• Strong knowledge in: AutoCAD, Microsoft office, Autodesk Fabrication, Trane Trace 700, Revit, BlueBeam, and Navisworks.
